Hi Everyone,

I have now finished my loading doses of cimzia and due to take my single dose tonight. Things have been really bad lately healthwise and everything seemed to be hitting me like a ton of bricks until......... 3 days ago. I am amazed I have spent the past 3 days in relative bliss compared to the hell I was enduring previously! My energy levels are up, I havn't used my stick, I am walking so much better and my swelling seems to be improving. I hope and pray this is the start of some relief. I take everyday as it comes and am grateful for any amount of relief I can get.

Soooooooooooo excitedBigGrin

Sending you all pain free hugs

Love
Nat xxx

Natalie

So glad that the Cimzia is finally working for you. It must be such a relief to you - long may it last ThumpUp

I have had a colonoscopy. To be honest it was fine. The worst part was not being able to eat. It was fascinating being able to see inside myself - they let me watch.

Yes I have a pea size lump under my arm but I am talking about on the underside of my arm, not my armpit. I also have one of the back of my leg. I spoke to my GP and he said nothing to worry about. However, you must speak to a Doc about yours just to make sure it is harmless. It is always best to check especially with our disease and the medication we take.

Good luck for Monday. I am sure you will be fine

Jackie

Thank you Jackie, great to hear from someone who has been through it.

Will definitely get the lump checked I think it is under my armpit closer to my breast, I had a lump removed from the same breast about 14 years ago which was benign so hopefully its nothing serious xxx

Hi Guys, I thought I would write a little update as I havn't been on here in a while.

Well I had my colonoscopy and the sooner I forget about that the better lol, it was awful, the sedation didn't work and I felt everything!!!

I found out the lump under my arm is caused by anti persperant !! so have been on antibiotics to clear that up and have developed thrush ( just to top things off! lol) Anyway apart from these few hiccups I was feeling pretty good until this week, I have only just realised that just coz I feel good doesn't mean I can do everything................ I need to pace pace and pace again lol.

So anyway been pretty rubbish today lots of swelling and pain in my hands ankles and feet, hope its just that I have overdone it and just a lil glitch!

hope everyone is doing ok, sending big hugs to you all xxxx

Yes, learning to pace yourself so that you don't overdo it is important. We need to avoid a boom and bust cycle where we work like crazy, make ourselves exhausted, crash, recover and then start the cycle over. How those of you with kids and jobs manage that is a mystery to me. Respect!
